Roger Philabaum

Roger Philabaum, 49, of Coshocton, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Riverside in Columbus. He was born on May 7, 1972, in Coshocton to the late, Roger Philabaum I and Dixie (Lillibridge) Rogers, who survives. He was a proud owner of CPR Automotive with his son, Cody. He worked as a mechanic and was a fan of cars, especially mustangs. He was a talented musician, playing the guitar. At the age of 14, he met his soulmate, Jenny (Anderson) Philabaum and they married on July 31, 1992. Together they raised a family of four children and three grandchildren. He was an incredibly loving husband, father, and grandfather who they called “Pops” and “Poppy” by granddaughter, Aubrie.

He is survived by his spouse, Jenny; children, Brandon (Shelby) Philabaum, Cody (Mikyla) Philabaum, Jackson (Kaitlyn Grundy), and Kimberly (Coby Moore); grandchildren, Aubrie, Ellie, and Grayson; mother and stepfather, Dixie (Leroy) Rogers; siblings, Shane (Megan) Philabaum; niece and nephews, Austin, Brady, Matthew, Kristen, Stephani (Heather) and Ryan; as well as several cousins.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Jack and Colleen Lillibridge.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Monday, January 10, 2022, from 4pm to 6pm. A memorial service will begin at the funeral home on Monday at 6pm. Per his wishes, a cremation will take place with the Miller-Kaser Cremation Services.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital and Coshocton Regional Medical Center for the exceptional care he received.
