Rollover crash reported on US 36

On Feb. 7, at 11:04 p.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident in the 43000 block of US 36, in Bethlehem Twp. The caller advised of a single vehicle rollover crash with possible occupant ejection.

Upon arrival of deputies it was determined that a vehicle being operated by Albert Schuler, 35 years old, of New Philadelphia was traveling westbound on US 36. Schuler failed to negotiate a curve and went off the right side of the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned coming to rest in the parking lot of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Schuler was taken by EMS to Genesis of Coshocton where his injuries are unknown at this time. Alcohol was thought to be a factor in the accident and this crash remains under investigation at this time. Assisting at the scene was Walhonding Valley Fire District, Coshocton County EMS and Princes Wrecker.
