Ronald C. Jenkins Sr.

UNION – Ronald C. Jenkins Sr., age 82 of Union, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Ron was the co-owner/operator of Jenkins Brothers’ Barbering in Englewood for many years. He was a member of Clayton United Methodist Church and the NRA. He enjoyed golfing and dancing and was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals fan.

He is survived by his children: Ron (Laura) Jenkins Jr., Connie (Wally) Sickles, Craig (Carol) Jenkins, Scott (AnnMarie) Jenkins, Gloria (Charles Jr.) Allen, grandchildren: Suzanne (Tyler), Ashley, Josselyn, Lauren, Kelly (Tolga), Laura (Stuart), Ryan, Olivia, Anna, Brittany (Justin), Charles (Cassi) III, Colin, 9 great grandchildren, twin brother: Donald Jenkins, sister: Kate Studer, nieces, nephews, relatives and special friend: Astrid Koehler.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Charlotte Diana (Schmidt) Jenkins, mother: Myrtle (Cartwright) Jenkins, father and step-mother: Edward and Ruth Jenkins, brothers: Dale, Tom and Neil Jenkins, sisters: Anna Jean Wood and Carol Wardell.

A memorial service was held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Kindred Funeral Home, (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Rev. Nate Pelfrey officiating. The family received friends on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Interment was held privately at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Clayton United Methodist Church.
