Ronald F. Davis, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born Sept. 8, 1943 in Coshocton to the late Franklin and Rosella (Leddy) Davis. Upon graduating from Warsaw High School in 1961, he worked for a time at WHIZ-TV in Zanesville setting up commercials and even doing a kids show called “Ron Davis and His Puppets”. After leaving the station, he got a job at G.E. in Coshocton, first in the factory and later in Research & Development.

It was broadcast all over the Midwest, including locally on WTNS in Coshocton, where it continues presently. He was the President of the River View Ministerial Association for many years. He also served on the Council for the Village of Warsaw from 1992-2007, at which time he became Mayor of Warsaw, a role he served in until his retirement from public service in January 2024.

Ron married his wife of 61 years, Jeannette (Endsley) Davis of Warsaw, on April 28, 1963. Together they had two daughters, Lori (Ed) Robinette of Warsaw, and Rhonda (Craig) Ringwalt of Walhonding. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Josh (Bethany) Young, Stephanie Spang, Matthew Robinette, Jandi Young, Tiffany (Kyle) Todd, Jordyn (Ross) Health, Rachel (Brandon) Cherup, Taylor (Tyler) Oliver, and Samantha (Broc) Martin; fifteen great-grandchildren, Jada Young (Gabriel Hendrix), Lachlan VanDusen-Todd, Averie Spang, Elaina Young, Jaxton Todd, McKenzie Young, Bo Cherup, Noah Heath, Blakeley Oliver, Owen Heath, Wrenley Oliver, Dean Cherup, Maggie Heath, Brooklyn Martin, and Zachary Young; a brother, Carl (Joyce) Davis of Nellie; brother-in-law, Randy (Tina) Endsley of Warsaw; a sister-in-law, Joyce Hale of Blissfield; and several nieces & nephews.
