Ronald “Ronnie” E. Johnson

Ronald “Ronnie” E. Johnson, 56, of Coshocton passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, September 29, 2024.  He was born in Coshocton on September 6, 1968 to the late Andrew and Wanda (Linedecker) Johnson.

Ronnie is a 1987 graduate of Ridgewood High School; he graduated fire academy and served the community as a volunteer firefighter for 17 years with the West Lafayette Fire Department. Ronnie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandkids.

Ronnie leaves behind one son, Justin (Wendy) Johnson; three daughters Amanda Johnson, Jessica Guinther, and Amber (Steven) Burris; four siblings Ed (Terri) Johnson, John Johnson, Andrea Johnson, and Shirley Johnson; two grandchildren, Michael Miller and Madalynn Johnson; close friends Steve (Vicki) Young, Glen Langdon, and Allen (Dena) Stephan; lifelong love, Tammy Jones; companion Miles; and many non-biological grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends from Company 6 fire department.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by brother William Johnson; and granddaughter Everlee Burris.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, OH 43812 on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services for Ronnie will be Friday at 11:00am with Pastor Steve Young officiating.  Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made towards Miller Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
