Roscoe to host Back to School celebration
COSHOCTON – The Roscoe Village Foundation will host a Back-to-School Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. in the Lock Landing on the lower level of the visitor center for children in grades kindergarten through sixth (ages 5 – 12). Each eligible child participating will receive a ticket to be entered into a drawing for a backpack full of school supplies, a Coshocton County Fair pass or Sunflower Festival tickets from the Coshocton KOA. The children will go on a nature walk with Nate Mastenik, the landscape manager for Roscoe Village from 11 – 11:45 a.m. The children will return to the picnic shelter for a light lunch from noon – 12:30 p.m. Following lunch, there will be a craft workshop and short story from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. The cost to participate in the event will be $2 per child for members and $3 per child for non-members.
