Roscoe Village offers weaving workshops

| September 9, 2015

COSHOCTON – Historic Roscoe Village is set to begin the fall series of weaving workshops. Each two hour workshop allows the participant to create their very own mug rug on a portable loom. A $25 fee includes instructions and all materials.

Workshops will take place at 10 a.m. Saturdays, Sept. 12, Oct. 10 and Nov. 14, in the Visitor Center Hands-On Room. Minimum number of participants is two with a maximum of five for each workshop. Age requirement is 10 years of age or older. You may call Debbie at 622-7644 extension 20 to make your reservation.

The art of weaving is an age-old art. Learn the history of weaving as you make your very own keepsake to take with you. This wonderful hands-on experience is made possible through a generous grant from the Simpson Family Foundation.

For additional information on lectures and workshops taking place in Roscoe Village, call 740-622-7644 or 800-877-1830 or visit www.roscoevillage.com. The village is located at 600 N. Whitewoman St.
