The village’s main weaver, Rami, will be instructing each participant, on the portable looms, the techniques used to weave. All you have to do is sign-up online and show up. A $35 fee for nonmembers and $30 fee for members includes instructions and all materials.

Workshops will take place on Saturday, Jan. 28 and Saturday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Requirements for these classes are 10 years of age or older. To purchase tickets, go to https://roscoevillage.ticketspice.com/winter-weaving-workshop-2023. You may call Angel at 740-623-6526 for questions.

The art of weaving is an age-old art. Learn the history of weaving as you make your very own keepsake to take with you. This wonderful hands-on experience is made possible through a generous grant from the Simpson Family Foundation.

For additional information on memberships or tours taking place in Roscoe Village please call 740-622-7644 or visit www.roscoevillage.com. The village is located at 600 North Whitewoman St. in Coshocton.
