Roscoe Village to host ice cream social
COSHOCTON – The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum will collaborate with Medbery Marketplace and surrounding businesses to kick off National Ice Cream month with a village-wide day of fun. The public is invited on July 6 to celebrate the summer season with the Roscoe Village Ice Cream Social. They are offering free admission all day, a craft for kids, and a one-of-a-kind historical ice cream display.
After your visit to JHM, roam around Historic Roscoe Village and celebrate the ice cream season with the local businesses. Other activities offered by the surrounding businesses include arts and crafts, face painting, a photo booth, a drawing contest, and much more. Of course, don’t forget about the most important amenity – ice cream. Medbery Market will be featuring Velvet Ice Cream with a full sundae bar as well as old-fashioned soda floats, shakes, and malts.
Prices and hours for activities vary by business. End your Fourth of July festivities right and help us celebrate summer, community, and of course, ice cream with the Roscoe Village Ice Cream Social.
Free museum admission applicable to all patrons on July 6, noon to 5 p.m.
