Roxie Rose

COSHOCTON – Roxie Rose, 85, of Coshocton went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday September 12, 2018.

Roxie was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on May 25, 1933 to the late Boyd and Audrey (Lunsford) Hensley.

She had worked at Pretty Products for many years, was a nurse’s assistant at Coshocton County Regional Medical Center before becoming a Pink Lady. Roxie enjoyed watching the Kentucky Wildcats, Cincinnati Reds, shopping, spending time with her family and reading her Bible.

She is survived by her daughter in law Carol (Bob) Olinger of West Lafayette; three grandchildren Rachael Rose, Bridgett (Todd) Keenan and Nick (Karly) Rose; seven great grandchildren Alexis, Reggie, Landon, Brooklyn, Lauralyn, Halle and Quentin; a sister Betty (Phil) Henry of IN; half brother Matt Hensley of IN; half-sister Ruby Gross of KY; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Herman Rose; son Bruce Rose; two brothers Pete and Marshall Hensley.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday September 18, 2018 from 12:00 PM -1:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ralph Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in Roscoe Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Victory Baptist Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
