Ruth C. Woodring
Ruth C. Woodring went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 17, 2021, after an extended battle with cancer.She was born in Coshocton County, on Dec. 17, 1936, to Burt and Lucille Lafferty.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 64 years, Garnie Woodring. Ruth became a long time resident of Bakersville, and spent many years working for Stone Container Corporation. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed shopping, bowling, and camping.
She is survived by her three children, Garnie Woodring Jr., Shirley (Rick) Glazer, David (Beverly) Woodring. Ruth is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Joshua Woodring (Dawn), Krista (Ryan) Thomas, Ginelle Hayhurst (Rodney), Nicole (Ben) Hostetler, Heather (Nathan) McNeil, Ashley (Clint) Stutzman, Katie Woodring (Colten), Cody Woodring (Kelsie). Ruth was also blessed with 16 great-grandchildren. Ruth is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Ruth is preceded in death by her eight siblings.
To honor Ruth’s wishes, her family will be holding a private family grave side service at Fairview Cemetery in Fresno. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mark Britton from the Dover Bible Church.
