Together Again

Ruth M. Bradford, 93, of West Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022. She was born on Sept. 3, 1928, in West Lafayette, to the late Clarence and Audrey (Walker) Fleming.

Ruth graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1947, and then married Robert R. Bradford on June 3, 1950.

She was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful baker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, puzzles, ceramics and playing Bingo. Ruth was a loving and kind wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her three children, Michael Bradford of New Philadelphia, Larry (Teresa) Bradford of Coshocton and Janice (Craig) Nichols of West Lafayette; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Jim Fleming of West Lafayette.

Along with her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Robert who passed away on Dec. 30, 2001; a son, Jeffery Bradford; daughter-in-law, Diane Bradford; grandson, Derek Bradford; two brothers, Robert and Clarence Fleming; and a sister, Harriett Bales.

Calling hours were held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating. Burial followed at Plainfield Cemetery.
