RVHS cross country boys receive honors
The River View Cross Country Boys Team placed third at the Division II Eastern District meet to advance as a team to the Division II Region 7 meet.
District individuals that advanced were Sam Adams, Javin Robinson and Drew Tumblin. The Boys Team placed 11th at the regional meet, which did not qualify them as a team to advance to the OHSAA DII State meet; however, Sam Adams and Javin Robinson both qualified as individuals. The OHSAA DII State Cross Country Championship was held on Nov. 6, where placing 29th was Javin Robinson and Sam Adams 64th out of 180 runners.
The following received honors: All-MVL – Sam Adams, Javin Robinson, Drew Tumblin, and Hunter Miller; Division II Academic All-Eastern District – Sam Adams, Javin Robinson, Drew Tumblin, Hunter Miller, and Alex Papadopol; Division II Eastern District All-Star Team – Sam Adams, Javin Robinson, and Drew Tumblin; OHSAA Division II Academic All-Ohio – Sam Adams and Javin Robinson; and OHSAA DII All-Ohio – Javin Robinson.
