RV muralWARSAW – River View High School senior Sydney Fender is painting a mural in a display case at the junior high school.

“It was an honor to be picked to do this, especially since this is most likely going to be here for a long time,” Fender said. “I was really flattered.”

Fender was selected to paint a mural in a display case by the junior high’s office where a black bear typically stands guard. The display case is one of several that Principal Jerry Olinger has switched around to add more character to the hallways and showcase the work of students.
