S. Woodrow Wilson
WARSAW- S. Woodrow “Woody” Wilson, 76, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 at Signature Healthcare in Coshocton.
He was born Nov. 5, 1939 in Coshocton Co. to the late Raymond Wilson and Olive (Matheny) Wilson Stockman. He was a 1957 graduate of Warsaw High School, and he retired from Pretty Products after nearly 25 years of service. He was a member of Warsaw United Methodist Church, and a charter member of the River View Community Park Board in Warsaw. He was a 50 year member of the Freemasons, the Coshocton Elks Lodge, and a former member of the Warsaw Lions Club. He was a former member of the Coshocton Co. Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees, having most recently served on the finance committee. He was also a former member of the Frontier Power Board of Trustees.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Imogene (Carter) Wilson of Warsaw, whom he married July 10, 1959, a son, Jeff (Jodi) Wilson of Dublin, a daughter, Julie (Jeff) Horner of Powell, three grandchildren; Morgan Wilson of Cincinnati, and Samuel & Daniel Wilson of Dublin, a brother, Dwight (Judy) Fesler of Coshocton, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and brothers-in-law; Leona Lapp (John), Nancy Berkshire (Kenny), and Jane Potter (Ron), and also several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Luanne West officiating.
