Salvation Army to honor veterans
COSHOCTON – The Coshocton Salvation Army Military Appreciation Day will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 7, in the gym. All Coshocton County Veterans and their spouses are invited.
A free breakfast of SOS, scrambled eggs, orange juice and coffee will be served. At 11 a.m. Retired Master Sergeant Maurice Sheffield will share about his time serving in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. There also will be military displays, a socializing area and information table set up by the veterans’ service office.
The Salvation Army is located at 334 Chestnut St.
