Sandra K. Kittell Reiss

Sandra Kay (Miskimens) Kittell Reiss, 78., died Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Marion General Hospital.

She was born May 3, 1944 to the late Earl James and Bessie Hilda (Cox) Miskimens. After graduating high school, Sandy worked a number of years at the Coshocton Bowling Alley. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary at American Legion Post #65, and she attended Keene United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Gibson E. Reiss of Coshocton, whom she married July 30, 2021; two children, Lynn E. (Crystal) Powelson, Jr. of Coshocton, and Jeffery A. Kittell, Sr. of Parma; grandchildren, Alexandra G. (Jordan) Best of Parma, Shayla K. Kittell of Parma, Jeffery A. Kittell, Jr. of Parma, Blake (Morgan) Carroll of Frazeysburg, and Chase (Katlyn) Carroll of Coshocton; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn R. Best of Parma, Bailey Carroll of Frazeysburg, Holland Anderson of Coshocton, and Laiklynn Carroll of Coshocton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, Dean W. Kittell; a daughter, Tammy Powelson; three sisters, Barbara Jean Weaver, Eileen McCullough, and Patricia Berkfield; and a brother, E.J. Miskimens, Jr.

Calling hours will be held at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw on Thursday, March 23rd from 4-6 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Paula Marbury will officiate. Private burial will take place at Roscoe Cemetery. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
