Semi accident occurs on SR 643
On March 24, 2022 at approximately 3:48 p.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a single vehicle semi accident on SR 643 near TR 215.
Upon arrival, there were power lines on the semi and across SR643, closing the road. Frontier Power arrived on scene and cut the power to the lines. Upon investigation of deputies , it was determined that Raphael Patten, 45, of Richardson, Texas was traveling South on SR 643, negotiating a curve, when he lost control and went off the right side of the roadway, causing his load to shift and striking a power line power and his semi came to rest on its side. No injuries were reported by Patten.
Assisting at the scene was the Coshocton County EMS, Three Rivers Fire Department, Prince’s Wrecker Service, William Albert Construction Company and Coshocton County REACT.
