Sheriff Office Report for April 26, 2021

On April 25th, the Sheriff Office investigated 5 Accidents and 5 Complaints. 

Accidents: 

  • Caleb Hottinger was traveling Northbound on State Route 83, when he sstruck a deer just before Township Road 280.
  • Brad Mathias of Canal Lewisville was backing out of a parking spot at Great Clips in Airport Road, when he struck a vehicle being driven by Anthony Ashcraft of Coshocton.
  • Paul Kruger of Kimbolton, Ohio, was stopped in traffic at the intersection of US 36 and State Route 83 in Tuscarawas Township, when his vehicle was struck in the rear by a vehicle operated by Judy Bowman of Coshocton.
  • Ivan Burkholder of Dundee was heading South on State Route 93 and failed to yield the right of way, when turning onto Township Road 88 and struck Jodi Adkins whom was heading Northbound on State Route 93.
  • Robert Fry of Coshocton was turning Eastbound onto Township Road 198 from County Road 1, when he lost control and struck a stop sign.

Complaints: 

  • The Gold Rush in the downtowner plaza was broken into. Further investigation is pending.
  • Charles McVay came to the office to report his grandson, Gage McVay, has been missing since April 22nd, 2021.
  • A Coshocton woman reported unemployment fraud.
  • Juvenile incident.
  • A resident in the 300 block of South Third Street reported a domestic incident.
