Sheriff Report for May 11, 2021

On May 10th, the Sheriff Office investigated 3 Accidents and 6 Complaints. 

Accidents:

  • William Hershberger of Shreve, Ohio was attempting to turn left into a business in the 33000 block of State Route 643 in Crawford Township, when he was struck by a vehicle driving Southbound on State Route 643. That vehicle was being driven by Christopher Books of Sugarcreek, Ohio.
  • Roman Litynskyy of Illinois, was turning onto South Second Street from Westbound on Chestnut Street, when striking the light pole with his tractor trailer.
  • Stacy Daugherty of Warsaw reported being involved in a non-injury accident after swerving to miss hitting a deer.

Complaints: 

  • An illegal dump was discovered along County Road 7, by the old landfill.
  • Robbie McFarland reported a breaking and entering at his business at 203 West Main Street in Warsaw.
  • Ken Jennings of Township Road 146 reported the theft of a package from his mailbox.
  • A deputy received a report of a traffic hazard on County Road 1A.
  • A deputy responded to Rural King in reference to a theft.
  • A Conesville woman reported vandalism to her vehicle.
