Sheriff’s office continues to investigate murder
On Feb. 19, at 1:30 p.m., the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call in reference to an adult male being found deceased in an apartment at the Bellflower Apartments in the city of Coshocton.
Upon arrival of deputies, the Coshocton County Coroner’s Office and BCI were called in to assist detectives due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the resident, 71-year-old Robert “Jack” Wright.
On Feb. 21, two adults were taken into custody and an additional search warrant was executed on a residence in the 600 block of Orange Street in relation to this investigation.
On Feb. 24, Theresa L. Rose, a 50-year-old female from the Coshocton area, was formally charged with murder, an unclassified felony. At the time of this release, an adult male remains in custody.
Assisting the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office with this very active investigation are the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office, Coshocton County Coroner’s Office and BCI.
