On February 14 the Sheriff’s Office investigated one accident(s) and zero complaint(s).

Accidents

– On 2/14/2015 at 8:08 PM the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a 3 car accident with injuries on US 36 near the intersection of Coshocton County Road 170. The driver causing the accident was identified as Joshua Simmons of Reynoldsburg. The vehicle was heading east bound on US 36 when he struck 2 other vehicles also heading east bound on US 36. After striking the 2 vehicles he went off the right side of the roadway, overturned several times, and was ejected from the vehicle. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this accident. Due to weather conditions, Joshua was transported by Coshocton County EMS to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, where he was later transported to Grant Hospital. Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, West Lafayette Fire Department, Coshocton County REACT, and Prince’s Wrecker.
