Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for Feb. 8

On Feb. 4, the Sheriff’s Office investigated four accidents and four complaints.

Accidents

– JOSEPH BLAIES OF WHITEHALL WAS TRAVELING EAST BOUND ON W CHESTNUT STREET WHEN MEGAN HAYWOOD OF COSHOCTON MERGED INTO HIS LANE CAUSING DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES.

– DAVID GUILLIAMS WAS BACKING OUT OF THE DOCK PARKING LOT WHEN HE STRUCK A VEHICLE DRIVEN BY STEVE OGLE.

– WILLIAM ALLEN III OF FORT WAYNE INDIANA WAS TURNING ONTO SYCAMORE STREET FROM NORTH 4TH STREET WHEN PAMELA CONKLE OF FRESNO FAILED TO YEILD AT THE STOP SIGN CAUSING THEM TO COLLIDE.

– SHELLY COGNION OF COSHOCTON WAS TRAVELING WEST BOUND ON CR 2 WHEN SHE LOST CONTROL OF HER VEHICLE AND STRUCK A TREE.

Complaints

– WOODBURY OUTFITTERS REPORTED THE THEFT OF A FIREARM.

– TOM SHARIER OF WEST LAFAYETTE REPORTED A THEFT FROM HIS TRUCK.

– KAREN ODELL OF COSHOCTON REPORTED BEING ASSAULTED.

– THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE RECEIVED A CALL OF A DISTURBANCE ON E WOOD STREET. UPON INVESTIGATION, TARA COCHRAN OF WEST LAFAYETTE WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH TRESPASSING.
