Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for Jan. 10, 2015
On January 9 the Sheriff’s Office investigated four accident(s) and one complaint(s).
Accidents
– JOSHUA MICHAEL MCKEE OF COSHOCTON WAS PULLING ONTO THE STREET FROM 225 MAIN STREET AND STRUCK A FIRE HYDRANT.
– VERNON STAHL OF FRESNO WAS TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND ON CR93 AND STOPPED FOR THE STOP SIGN AT CR93 AND US36. CYNTHIA DENNIS OF COSHOCTON WAS TRAVELING EASTBOUND ON US36 AND WAS COMING INTO THE INTERSECTION OF US36 AND CR93 WHEN MR STAHL CROSSED THE TWO WESTBOUND LANES ON US36 AND TURNED LEFT TO GO EASTBOUND ON US36 AND STRUCK THE VEHICLE OF MS DENNIS. THIS CAUSED THE DENNIS VEHICLE TO GO OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRIKE A GUARDRAIL
– WILLIAM DARRELL EMBREY JR OF WELLSBURG WV WAS ATTEMPTING TO BACK INTO A REAR ACCESS AREA OF ROCK TENN WHEN HE STRUCK A CONCRETE POLE.
– MATTHEW WEAVER OF NEWCOMERSTOWN WAS EASTBOUND ON TR101 WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE HE WAS OPERATING AND WENT OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. MR WEAVER WAS CHARGED WITH OVI AND FAILURE TO CONTROL.
Complaints
– LAWRANCE HARDEN OF COSHOCTON REPORTED THE THEFT OF ITEMS FROM HIS CAR WHILE PARKED AT WALMART.
