On Oct. 27, 2018 the Sheriff’s Office investigated 2 accident (s) and 4 complaint (s)

 

Accident

7:38 A.M.  Carrie Mosholder of Newcastle was traveling north on Sr 206 when she swerved to miss a deer going off the roadway into a ditch striking a sign and mailbox.

 

10:55 P.M.  Cassandra Scott of Kent was traveling south on CR 93 when she swerved to miss a deer. She was unable to stop and struck a utility pole snapping it off at the ground and causing two transformers that were on a platform to fall.

 

Complaints

2:00 A.M.  The Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center for a male with a gunshot wound to his hand. Upon investigation Michael Murray reported he had accidently discharged a weapon into his hand.

 

9:00 A.M.  Fred Hootman of Coshocton reported vandalism to the Royer Chapel on Township Road 280.

 

12:55 P.M.  Shirley Faler of Coshocton reported damage to her vehicle.

 

7:01 P.M.  Patsey Long of Coshocton reported a tree fell on two vehicles.
