Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for Sept. 13, 2014

On September 12 the Sheriff’s Office investigated one accident and five complaints.

Accidents

– COREY FERGUSON OF THORNVILLE OHIO WAS TRAVELING WEST BOUND ON US36 WHEN HE FAILED TO STOP, STRIKING SAMUEL BATTEN OF WARSAW WHO WAS STOPPED FOR ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND WAITING TO TURN INTO THE DOLLAR GENERAL STORE.

Complaints

– OFFICERS WERE DISPATCHED TO THE 900 BLOCK OF SOUTH 16TH STREET IN REFERENCE TO A MISSING JUVENILE. THE JUVENILE WAS LATER LOCATED AT A NEAR BY RESIDENCE AND THE FATHER JARED LAWSON OF COSHOCTON WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT.

– DAVID DODD OF COSHOCTON REPORTED HIS HOUSE AND VEHICLES WERE EGGED.

– WHILE ON ROUTINE PATROL THE LITTER OFFICER LOCATED AN ILLEGAL DUMP SITE ON TR358, IN TIVERTON TOWNSHIP.

– WHILE ON ROUTINE PATROL THE LITTER OFFICER LOCATED AN ILLEGAL DUMP SITE ON TR131, IN NEWCASTLE TOWNSHIP.

– ANN TAYLOR OF COSHOCTON REPORTED THE THEFT OF PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION.
