Sheriff’s Office Report for December 26, 2020

On December 25th, the Sheriff’s Office investigated 4 Accidents and 2 Complaints. 

Accidents:

  • A non-injury accidents was reported on County Road 22 near Township Road 348.
  • Kimberly Stanley was traveling South on State Route 83, when she lost control of the vehicle, slid off the right side of the road and went into a ditch near County Road 38. No injuries were reported.
  • Benjamin Erman was traveling South on Township Road 322, when he slid on the ice and struck a vehicle being operated by Chad Murray.
  • Dean Smith of Coshocton was traveling East on US Route 36, just East of Township Road 509, when he lost control of his vehicle, striking the guardrail.

Complaints: 

  • Carolyn Roark of Coshocton reported the catalytic converter was cut off her vehicle.
  • An anonymous caller reported that a dog was left in a cage with frozen water and frozen food at an abandoned property on Birch Street in Coshocton. Deputies and Coshocton County Humane Society removed the dog from the property.
