Sheriff’s Office Report for January 18, 2021
On January 17th, the Sheriff’s Office investigated 2 Accidents and 4 Complaints.
Accidents:
- A car versus semi, non-injury accident was reported near the Coshocton/Muskingum County line on State Route 16.
- Shayna Boyer was driving on County Road 7, when she went off the left side of the road and overturned her vehicle. Ms. Boyer was able to get out of the vehicle prior to emergency personnel arriving on scene.
Complaints:
- Nancy Fawcett of Trinway was cited for speeding on South Second Street.
- Teddy Hess of Lockhart, Virginia, reported the theft of a firearm from his vehicle while parked at the Super 8 Motel.
- A traffic stop on a vehicle was initiated in front of the Otsego Carry Out and Jessica Ruby was cited for fictitious tags. Suspected methamphetamine was also located in the vehicle and is awaiting further testing.
- Dayne Ramsour was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
