Sheriff’s Office Report for November 8, 2020

On November 7th, the Sheriff’s Office investigated 3 Accidents and 3 Complaints. 

Accidents: 

  • Brandy Mizer was traveling North on TR 322, when she drove off the right side of the road and struck a tree. Mrs. Mizer was uninjured in the crash.
  • Amy Adkins of Dover was traveling Westbound on US 36, near County Road 621, when Mrs. Adkins struck a deer.
  • Doris Addleburg of Coshocton, reported property damage to her vehicle after striking a deer on State Route 60 in the area of County Road 19.

Complaints:  

  • Steven Schlabach of Newcomerstown was cited for failing to signal his turn and driving without a license in the 500 Block of South 7th Street.
  • Kara Willey was cited in the 100 Block of Vine Street for improper display and driving under suspension.
  • Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Main Street and South Second Street in reference to a hit skip accident. Once on scene, it was determined that Joshua Cadwell of Warsaw was driving his 2002 Chevy Cavalier Northbound on South 2nd St and Main Street. A 2001 Dodge Neon being driven by Rodney Giesey in an Eastbound direction. The Giesey vehicle went through a red light and struck the Caldwell vehicle. The Geisey vehicle then fled the scene and was caught a short distance later.
