Shirley Shoults

DSCN0064WARSAW- Shirley Ann (Rine) Shoults, 78, passed away Thursday May 7, 2015 at her son Robert’s residence.

She was born Feb. 28, 1937 in Martinsburg to the late Fred and Helen Bernice (Berry) Rine.  She married Wilbur Shoults, Jr. on June 25, 1954, who preceded her in death on July 2, 2012 after 58 years of marriage.  She was a wonderful mother and homemaker, known for cooking bacon, tending her garden, and being outdoors.  Above all, she loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by six children; James Shoults & Donald Shoults of Logan, Robert (Mildred) Shoults of Warsaw, Diana (David) Dalton of Rockbridge, Steve Shoults of Warsaw, and Earl Shoults of Mt. Vernon, many  grandchildren and  great-grandchildren,  her brother Phillip (Paulette) Rine of Fredericktown, three sisters-in-law; Mary “Sis” (Bob) Reed, Debra (Bob) Buker, and Rose Manning, all of Coshocton, and three brothers-in-law; Earnald (Sandy) Shoults of Bladensburg, Dean (Sue) Shoults of Princeton, and Gary Shoults of West Lafayette.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda, an infant brother and sister, her mother and father in-law, Wilbur & Kathryn Shoults, and several brothers-in-law and sisters- in-laws.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday May 11, 2015 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Diora Edgell officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Bladensburg.  Visitation is two hours prior to service time.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
