Singing Showdown tryouts set
COSHOCTON — RD Promotions will hold tryouts for its upcoming Singing Showdown competition from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Town Center Civic Hall; and 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at The Depot Pub in Dresden. Final chance to qualify is from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds Rotary Pavilion. There will be no open karaoke during these times and there will be a $5 fee.
Interested singers can also tryout from 9 p.m. to midnight Saturdays through Sept. 29 during open karaoke at The Depot Pub in Dresden.
The finals for the contest will be 1 p.m. Oct. 2 at the grandstands during the Coshocton County Fair. A $300 cash prize will be awarded to the first-place singer. For information, visit www.singingshowdown.com.
