| November 27, 2017

NEW PHILADELPHIA – Sister’s Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi’s Gold to appear at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University – Tuscarawas on Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

It’s “CSI: Bethlehem” in this holiday mystery extravaganza, from the author of Late Nite Catechism, as Sister takes on the mystery that has intrigued historians throughout the ages: Whatever happened to the Magi’s gold? Retelling the story of the nativity, as only Sister can, this hilarious holiday production is bound to become a yearly classic. Employing her own scientific tools, assisted by a local choir as well as a gaggle of audience members, Sister creates a living nativity unlike any you’ve ever seen. With gifts galore and bundles of laughs, Sister’s Christmas Catechism is sure to become the newest addition to your holiday traditions.

“Our audience couldn’t stop laughing when Late Nite Catechism played the PAC in March of 2016,” said David Mitchell, general manager of the Performing Arts Center. “In this follow-up show themed for the Christmas holiday, the audience is going to get the same belly laughs as they did last time.”

Assisting Sister and joining in on the fun during the show will be choir members from Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia.
