Sponsors needed for golf scramble
Operations Veterans Helping Veterans is seeking sponsors for its sixth annual golf scramble scheduled for Saturday, May 18.
OVHV is a non-profit started by local veterans to help other local veterans in need. In the past they have helped with utility payments, food, rent, scholarships, Thanksgiving dinners, and Christmas shopping.
With a $50 donation, businesses can sponsor a hole at the golf scramble. Your business name or in memory or in honor of sign will be placed at a tee box. OVHV also is in need of a dinner sponsor. The chicken dinner in the past has cost around $1,300 and the cost can be split among several businesses. Dinner sponsors names will be placed on a banner.
