Stabbing reported at Mohawk Dam
On April 16, 2024 at approximately 7:58 p.m., the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a stabbing at the Mohawk Dam in Jefferson Township.
Upon investigation, it was determined that a 29-year-old male from the Akron area was stabbed once by an unknown assailant. The assailant left the scene driving a blue four-door Honda Civic with a spoiler. The male was flown from the scene by Air Evac with unknown injuries.
This case remains under investigation at this time.
Assisting at the scene was the Walhonding Valley Fire Department, Coshocton County EMS, Air Evac and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
