Steve Randall DeBoard Jr. passed away March 7, 2022, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.

He was born Nov. 18, 1967, in Columbus to Steve R. DeBoard, Sr. and Verna E. (Gillmon) DeBoard. Steve was a skilled tradesman with a strong focus on framing homes throughout Central Ohio. However, his greatest love was building his family with his wife and the love of his life, Eileen, whom he married on March 14, 1987. In their 33 year marriage, they raised and loved four children and enjoyed endlessly spoiling their grandchildren. Steve was a car enthusiast who loved all things Ford and especially loved working on and showing his ‘68 Mustang. An avid fisherman, Steve enjoyed the outdoors especially camping at Longlake Campground and “Ranger Rides” with his grandkids.

Steve is survived by his four children, Randy (Jess) DeBoard of Coshocton, Michelle DeBoard (Richard Hawthorne) of Coshocton, Kenny (Brittney) DeBoard of Coshocton, and Racheal (Landon) Smith of West Lafayette; seven grandchildren, Brynn, Hunter, Carter, Beau, Tyson, Matthew, and Boston; his mother, Verna E. DeBoard of Coshocton; two brothers, Jerry DeBoard of Warsaw, and Joe DeBoard (Zella Underwood) of Wooster; his mother-in-law, Fran Crossley of Warsaw; four sisters-in-law, Colleen (Gary) Bruce of Warsaw, Maureen (Charlie) Paxton of Cape Coral, FL, Kathleen (Joe) Deamer of Amsterdam, NY, and Laureen Crossley of Warsaw; a brother-in-law, Kevin (Julie) Crossley of London; and several nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eileen DeBoard; his father, Steve DeBoard Sr.; his sister-in-law, Noreen Crossley; and his father-in-law, William Crossley.

Calling hours will take place from 2-4 p.m. Friday afternoon, March 11, 2022, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. A celebration of Steve’s life will take place at a later date.
