Steven Ray Adams

Steven Ray Adams, 64, of Newcomerstown, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2020. He was born on Coshocton on Aug. 15, 1956 to the late Andrew Adams and Edna (Baumgarder) Fenty.

After graduating from Tri-Valley High School in 1974, Steve worked several jobs including working on the Oil Wells, Longaberger and Turner Hardware for several years.

He enjoyed working on the farm, driving tractors, and spending time with his friends and family.

Steve is survived by two bothers Terry (Melinda) Adams, and Jim (Pam) Adams, and a sister Beverly Scott; niece, Teresa Scott, nephew, Gary Scott, special cousin, Daniel Mace and several other nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his brother Harold Adams, and brother-in-law Roger Scott.

Calling hours will be held Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. Due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, social distancing measures will be in place and there will be a limited number of people inside the funeral home at a time. We also ask that you please wear a facemask at all times for the health and safety of our guest and employees.

A graveside will be held at 1:30 pm at New Bedford Cemetery with Bill Jones officiating.
