Stolen vehicle found

COSHOCTON – On Oct. 30, 2019 at approximately 2:15 a.m., a deputy with the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office observed a 1999 Volkswagen Beetle white in color in the area of Vine Street and South Seventh Street. This vehicle was reported stolen on Oct. 27, 2019 in the county of Coshocton. This vehicle attempted to flee and elude deputies from the area.

This vehicle continued through the City of Coshocton for several minutes causing damage to one resident’s property. This vehicle then continued out of town South on State Route 83 into Muskingum County. After approximately 33 minutes of pursuit, this vehicle crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of State Route 93 and State Route 83 in Muskingum County. No injuries were obtained from the result of the accident. Upon investigation, Adrian M. Randles (30) of Coshocton was arrested. This incident is still under investigation as the filing of formal charges are pending. Randles is currently held in the Coshocton County Justice Center under investigation at this time.

Assisting the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office were the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, Prince’s Wrecker Service, and the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

This incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
