Students celebrate Constitution Day

| September 17, 2012

Union Elementary recently celebrated Constitution Day. Classes were led in the Pledge of Allegiance, a flag raising ceremony, songs and poems performed by students, a Constitution trivia game, and students learned about the meaning of each of the 13 folds in folding the flag. Here students from Mrs.
Jolene Barnes 6th grade class tell about the meaning of each fold. Pictured with the flag are Samantha Kiger and Johnny Hardesty, along with Pete Walpole, Madison Moran, and Mrs. Barnes.
