Susan Margaret Cooper

Susan Margaret Cooper, 70, of Dresden, died Thursday morning, December 15, 2022 at her home.

Born August 1, 1952 in Dennison, Ohio a daughter of the late Clarence Alden and Margaret Elaine (Nickels) Nichols and a 1970 graduate of Ridgewood High School.  Susan earned her associates degree at the Tri-County School of Practical Nursing and worked as an LPN for over 25 years in home health care.  Susan was a recipient of the nurse of hope award from American Cancer Society.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a former member of the Blue Ridge Grange. Susan enjoyed sewing, baking and tending her flower garden.

Surviving is her significant other, Donald L. Wiles of the home; a son, David Lahna; a granddaughter, Tyler (Jared) Reigle; a great grandson, Bennett Reigle; three sisters, Pamela, Frances and Viola; a brother, Clinton and very close friends, Danny (Diane) Wiles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Meyer Reigle.

No services will be held at this time, a memorial service will be held at the family farm at a later date.

The Dresden Chapel of Vensil and Chute Funeral Home is assisting the family.
