Susan Marie Eberwine
Susan Marie Eberwine, 71, of Coshocton, passed away Friday, Dec. 29, peacefully in the presence of her son at Coshocton Regional Medical Center.
Susan was born on December 13, 1952 in Akron to the late William and Ava (Plaster) Carter. On August 14, 1989, she married George D. Eberwine, who passed away June 7, 2020. She was a caring and devoted mother and a joy to all who knew her. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, taking many trips all around the U.S. and the world. She had an immense love for animals from childhood into adulthood. Susan was active in 4-H in Coshocton County, first with her son and continuing to volunteer thereafter. She was a member of the Oriental Chapter #106 Order of the Eastern Star in Newcomerstown.
Susan is survived by her son, George Carter (Eleni) Eberwine, who is stationed at Los Angeles Air Force base while serving in the U.S. Space Force; as well as her cat, Dustmop.
According to her wishes, a small private family service will be held, and interment will take place at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Memorial donations in Susan’s name may be made to Oriental Chapter #106 of the Eastern Star c/o Laurie Stout 477 S. River St. Newcomerstown, OH 43832.
