Tabernacle to host Nightbirde’s sister at FCA event
Katelyn Marczewski, from the Nightbirde Foundation, will be the guest speaker at the next Unite event for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The event will be held on Sunday, Jan. 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle. All students in seventh through 12th grades are invited to come. This will be a fun evening of food, worship and fellowship. Food and games begin at 6 p.m.
Jane “Nightbirde” Marczewski was born in Zanesville. She was a singer-songwriter and was a contestant on “America’s Got Talent.” She received a Golden Buzzer for her song “It’s Ok.” Unfortunately, she chose to withdraw from the quarterfinals because her health was worsening due to cancer. She passed away in February 2022.
Her family created The Nightbirde Memorial Fund to help support people who can’t afford the cancer treatments they need and to donate to cancer research. The guest speaker, Katelyn, is her sister.
Any adult who would like to hear Marczewski’s message is welcome to come at 7 p.m. for her message and worship service.
Hailey Helter is a senior at Coshocton High School and involved with FCA. “I really enjoy FCA because it has helped me grow in my faith alongside my peers which is really amazing to see and be a part of.”
