Kids America has some great activities for the whole family beginning at 8:30 p.m. and running until 12:30 a.m. and it’s open to everyone. Isaac Bush, executive director said Papa Johns is their pizza sponsor and refreshments are free including pizza, drinks and chips. They will have bounce houses from the local Bouncing Around as well as organized games and contests throughout the evening or come and play basketball, volleyball, frisbee toss, shoot outs on the soccer field and of course the inflatables.
“If you want to walk the track or just sit and enjoy time with your friends that’s fine, too,” Bush said. “Anyone 13-years and older can attend, 12-years and under must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can sponsor multiple kids if they wish. There will be board games and possibly a movie as well as organized contests every hour. They usually have a shootout for basketball and possibly a basketball tournament and often do a scavenger hunt. The prizes are usually passes and gift cards. It’s a cheap night, the food is free, and it is an opportunity to come in and enjoy Kids America and it is a safe place for the kids to be.”
The OSU game will be playing on two screens for anyone who wants to watch that. Tickets are $3 in advance or $5 at the door.
