Teens treated for minor injuries after accident

On July 23 2021 at 6:39 a.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call advising of a one vehicle accident in the 27000 Block of CR 22 in Jefferson Township.

Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that a 16-year-old male swerved to miss a deer that ran into the road. He then lost control of the vehicle and drove off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then came to a rest in a small creek.

Both the male juvenile driver and 16-year-old male passenger were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released to their parents.

Assisting the sheriff’s office at the scene was Coshocton County EMS and Princes Wrecker Service.
