Teresa D. Gabor
COSHOCTON – Teresa D. Gabor, 66, of Coshocton passed away at The Ohio State University East Hospital on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
Teresa was born in Coshocton on May 26, 1952 to the late James R. McCormick and Venelia J. (Cosmar) McCormick. She graduated from River View High School and in her earlier years, she worked in the Lab at Coshocton County Regional Medical Center and Family Physicians. Teresa was then a homemaker taking care of her family and raising her children. She loved sewing and knitting, and treasured her time working at Jo Ann Fabrics, Walmart Fabric Division and Annin Flag Company.
Teresa was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Catholic Women’s Club.
She is survived by her husband David E. Gabor whom she married August 30, 1975; two children Derric E. (Trindi Waites) Gabor of Lancaster and Denise (Michael) Wiley of Newark; one grandchild Jade L. Gabor; two brothers John (Diane) McCormick and Bob McCormick both of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews; sisters in law Patty McCormick of Coshocton and Mary (Jim) Weaver of FL.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother David McCormick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 805 Main St., Coshocton on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 10:30 AM with Father Victor Wesolowski officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Sacred Heart Catholic School, 805 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
