The Pomerene Center announces mascot contest
The Pomerene Center is sometimes mistakenly called the “Pomeranian” Center. To capitalize on this fun pronunciation, we’re organizing a virtual dog show where all dogs can be a “Pom.”
All dogs can enter, whether they be a true Pomeranian or a Pomeranian wanna be.
The winning dog will possess all the qualities of a Pom – fluffiness, pointy ears, loving lap dog and extremely playful.
The winner will reign as the 2020 Pom Pom mascot and may attend Pomerene Center events and represent the Pomerene in other community events (parades, festivals, etc. once these things start happening again). Prizes include:
- Gift Basket from Good Boy Bakery in Roscoe Village
- Custom PomPom sweater/garment
- Pomerene Center logo dog collar tag
All entrants will be invited to the Pom Pom Party at the Pomerene Center later this summer. Treats provided!
Enter your lovable pooch today by sending a pic and description of your Pom (or Pom wanna be) by email to Office@pomerenearts.org or upload as a message to our Facebook page. Deadline to enter is Friday, May 8.
