Fabian001WARSAW- Thomas Ray Fabian, 81, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at his residence.

He was born Oct. 19, 1935 in Coshocton Co. to the late Erwin Ray and Esther Frances (Reiss) Fabian.  He was a 1954 graduate of Warsaw High School, and served in the United States Army National Guard.  He was a press operator for over 30 years at the former General Electric in Coshocton.  After his retirement, he was elected as a Trustee in Monroe Township where he has served for the last 26 years in the office he still holds.  He was part of the committee that restored the Helmick covered bridge in Clark Twp., was a member of the Clark Twp. Baptist Church, and attended & supported the Blissfield United Methodist Church.

Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and just being outdoors.  He especially enjoyed his time “puttering” around the farm with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Ann (Hughes) Fabian; two sons, Tim (Eileen) Fabian, and Mark (Doreen) Fabian, and a daughter, Trina Fabian, all of Warsaw; twelve grandchildren, which includes Trudy Cool, Steven Fabian, Chad Fabian, Rory Stevens (Morgan Shamel), Clay Stevens, Kiley Stevens (Brandon Laugesen), Kurtis (Connie) Allen, Jennifer (Michael) Lindell, Garrett Fabian, Kyle Fabian, and Hunter Fabian; thirteen great-grandchildren, Timmy, Alec, Steven Ray, Eva, Jacob, Leo, Zyra, Evelyn, Tenisha, Marquis, Kierra, Jett Michael, and Wesson; as well as several cousins and many close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastors Sonny Easterday & Ken Smailes officiating.  Burial will follow in Blissfield Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
