FRESNO – Thomas Stuart Darner, 83, died in his home Wednesday January 9, 2019. A lifelong resident of Coshocton County, Tom was born September 29, 1935 to the late Thomas and Ruth (Sarbaugh) Darner.

Tom was a devoted grandfather and loved watching his grandkids play sports. He had many hobbies over the course of his life, boating, running beagle dogs, and shooting trap to name a few. Tom continued to be an avid hunter. He retired from AK Steele and worked several years for Ready Mix Concrete prior to that. He was a member of the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church.

Tom is survived by his wife of 43 years, Michelle Darner. Also surviving him is a son, David and a daughter, Kyana (Dave) Pierson both of Columbus; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Dylan, Kelsey, Andrew, and Avery; a sister, Joan Larr of Coshocton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James Darner; two sisters Jacquie (Richard) Erman and Janice Wells, a daughter-in-law, Linda, and brother-in-law Ronald Larr.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church with Pastor Wes George officiating. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
