Thomas “Tom” W. Knepper I
COSHOCTON – Thomas “Tom” W. Knepper I, 69, of Coshocton passed away at OSU Medical Center on Sunday April 30, 2017. He was born in Coshocton on September 20, 1947 to the late Thurman V. and Virginia R. (Maple) Knepper.
He was a machine operator at Novelty Advertising for more than 30 years before retiring. He was a member of the Coshocton VFW and American Legion. He loved the Cleveland Indians, coaching and watching baseball, supporting his grandchildren, and working on his old army jeep.
Tom is survived by his children Thomas (Amy Paulun) Knepper II, Scott (Amy) Knepper, and Mark (Sheila) Knepper; grandchildren Hayley (Jesse) Rausch, and Paige and Logan Knepper; great grandchild Ares Rausch; step grandchildren Jenna and Jessica Paulun; sister Jan (Ron) Doran; several nieces and nephews; his dog Hooch and his bird Ralph.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Maple) Knepper whom passed away October 29, 2000; brother John Knepper and sister Nancy Doran.
Per Tom’s wishes a cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at South Lawn Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions can be directed to the Coshocton County Veterans Council, 318 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio, 43812.
