Tommy D. Crown
COSHOCTON – Tommy D. Crown, 83, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Altercare Nursing and Rehabilitation in Coshocton. He was born in Coshocton on April 9, 1935 to the late Ralph “Bay” and Ruth (Nelson) Crown.
He graduated from Coshocton High School and served in the United States National Guard for six years and retired from AK Steel after working there for 32 years. He loved to go flying, golfing and listening to Jazz and Big Band Music.
Tommy is survived by his children Jo (Bill) Kobel of Coshocton, Mike Crown of Clarksville, TN, and Chris (Michele) Crown of Hurricane, WV; grandchildren Alicia (Roger) Schultheis of Bentonville, AR, Stephanie (Darrin) Reeb of Sunbury, Ohio, Brett Kobel of Coshocton, Heather (Jon) McMasters of Coshocton, Elana and Lydia Crown of College Town, PA, Justin Crown of Coshocton, Abby and Ally Crown of Hurricane, WV, Laiken (Wayne) Grudier of Delaware, Ohio, and Laren (Rusty) Morris of Coshocton; daughter-in-law Kathi Crown; sister Paula (Larry) Wentz of Coshocton; and several great grandchildren.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Martha “Marty” (Hosfelt) Crown, whom passed away in 2010; son Bob Crown, and sister Jan (Kenny) Finton.
Per Tommy’s wishes there will be no funeral service and a cremation will take place. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory of Coshocton is serving the family. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com
