United Way adds board members
The United Way of Coshocton added Tisha Babcock and Kayla Cowden to its board of directors beginning December 2022.
Babcock will be the facility administrator for the Genesis Coshocton Medical Center. She has been employed by Genesis for 25 years and is an RN with a master’s in nursing. She received the Clinical Nurse Leadership certification, Critical Care Nurse certification as well as the Genesis Leadership Award.
In her spare time Babcock is a member of the Coshocton Rotary Club, is a Parish School of Religion instructor at Sacred Heart Church, a 4-H advisor, school volunteer and is involved with the boosters. She and her husband Jason have three children.
Cowden is the production planner at Wiley’s Organic Technologies and has been there for six years. She graduated from the University of Akron Magna Cum Laude. Cowden received a Project Management certificate from the University of Austin as well as a graduate certificate in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Ohio University. She plans to pursue her master’s in business administration in spring 2023.
Cowden is a member of The Presbyterian Church and has volunteered in the Sunday School program, VBS, community dinners etc.
In her spare time, Cowden sings in the community choir, enjoys cooking/baking and enjoys reading about American History. She also hopes to relearn how to play the piano.
The United Way of Coshocton has been serving Coshocton for more than 80 years and is locally governed. Board members typically serve two consecutive three-year terms.
